Clear Answers for Pet Health
In-House Laboratory
Being home to an on-site laboratory is a highlight of the veterinary care and services we are able to provide for our clients and their pets. By being able to analyze blood work, fecal tests, urinalysis, and skin scrapings in house, we can make diagnoses sooner and with greater accuracy. This means we can begin a treatment plan as soon as possible!
Although our pets cannot tell us what’s hurting, their blood, urine, feces, and biopsied tissues can. At Borash Veterinary Clinic, our on-site lab is equipped with modern amenities that can accurately detect underlying health concerns and abnormalities.
Digital X-Ray
Digital x-rays are beneficial in the diagnoses of a wide-range of conditions such as intestinal obstructions, bladder stones, tumors, chronic arthritis, bone breaks, bone fractures, and more.
Benefits of Digital Radiography: faster results, clear images, easy sharing, pain-free, non-invasive.
Ultrasound
We use ultrasound technology to get a closer look at your pet’s organs, joints, muscles, and tendons. This can be especially helpful when identifying cysts, tumors, and heart conditions.
If your pet needs an ultrasound, we partner with a traveling ultrasound technician who visits our clinic as needed. This allows your pet to receive advanced diagnostic care right here, without the stress of leaving our hospital.
Electrocardiogram
Electrocardiograms (EKGs) are used to measure heart rhythms and electrical impulses in your pet’s body, helping us assess overall heart health. This advanced diagnostic tool is non-invasive, painless, and provides results within minutes.
If your pet needs an EKG, we refer to Coast to Coast Cardiology for testing to ensure they receive the highest level of specialized cardiac care.
